Cookie Policy

Effective: 2026-06-01 · Last updated: 2026-06-01

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies Cronitorex uses on cronitorex.com and its subdomains, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your authentication state or theme preference.

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality (login, session, security).

NamePurposeDuration
cronitorex_sessionAuthentication sessionSession (until logout)
XSRF-TOKENCross-site request forgery protectionSession
cx-themeLight or dark theme preference (shared across cronitorex.com subdomains)1 year

2.2 Functional cookies

None at this time.

2.3 Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand in aggregate how visitors use our marketing site. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

NamePurposeDuration
_gaDistinguishes unique visitors2 years
_ga_<container-id>Persists session state for GA42 years

IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 by default. We use these statistics only in aggregate and do not combine them with your Account data. You can disable analytics cookies via your browser settings (Section 4) or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

2.4 Marketing cookies

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites.

4. How to control cookies

Most browsers let you view, manage, or block cookies through their settings. Refer to your browser documentation:

  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Edge

5. Consequences of disabling cookies

If you disable strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to log in to the dashboard or use authenticated features of the Service. Disabling the cx-theme cookie will reset your theme preference on every visit but does not affect functionality.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

If we add or change cookies in a material way, we will update this page and notify active users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

7. Contact

Cookie or privacy questions: hello@cronitorex.com.
